Business English training courses

In business, monolingualism is a thing of the past. English as the lingua franca of the world has found its way into the meeting rooms and teleconferences around the globe. Good English skills are a one-way ticket to business success: they can open up your world to new opportunities, enhance your employability prospects and get you in the fast lane to promotion.

Itaka conducts purpose-specific Business English training courses and workshops for individuals and small groups:

Before the workshop or course, all participants are tested against the CEFR benchmark. On the basis of the results of the assessment, the participants and the lecturer together define the learning objectives and select the preferred teaching methods (a textbook or a fully-tailored study programme).
Students can also decide to improve their fluency with a conversation course or work towards obtaining an international language test certificate (e.g. BEC Preliminary, BEC Vantage).
